Lark & Whimsy Theatre Collective is seeking a St. Catharines/Niagara based STAGE MANAGER for their upcoming production of Conway, by Chris Baker, at The Robby Lower Hall Theatre. Conway is a 70 minute, one-person play, with no intermission.
Synopsis: Murray Conway married his sweetheart just two months before volunteering to serve in WW2. Right before D-Day, he is shipped overseas to the No. 22 Canadian General Hospital with the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps – a life-changing experience. 75 years later, Conway’s remarkable story is reimagined by his grandson during ‘cocktail hour’, a family tradition.
We welcome submissions from recent theatre school graduates, emerging career stage managers and local artists.
Artists will be engaged under the C.A.E.A. Artists Collective Policy. The Stage Manager will receive a guaranteed minimum and a share of the profits.
Contract Dates: This is a short two-week contract. October 30th, 2019 - November 11th, 2019.
Performance Dates: November 6th, 2019 - November 11th, 2019.
